About Carey
She brings a unique set of skills to the Team and is no stranger to the adventurous and rugged off-roading life! If there’s a beaten path, her philosophy is to take the road less, or not even, traveled.
Over the years, Carey has built up her 2014 Subaru Outback, MtnSubi, to further her adventurous spirit. Carey’s experience with soft-roading, combined with her driving skills and quietly competitive nature quickly propelled the MtnSubi brand and attracted long-time friend Laura to join the Rebelle as her teammate.
She works as a public sector Senior Project Planner and brings a wealth of planning experience, an extensive network connected to local, state and federal fire agencies, as well as first responder support and civic organizations. She lives in the SF Bay Area, CA with her husband Todd, 2 teen kids, a couple border collies, an adventure cat and a variety of other pets. (from the Team's Instagram)
About Laura
Watching her long-time friend having “all the fun”, Laura eagerly accepted the invitation to join Team MtnSubi. Her passion for the open road and orienting started as soon as she could drive. Much to the worry of her parents, Laura would hit the road intending to get lost and find a new way home. Her philosophy… find a different way to get it done.
Laura’s roots are in the Midwest where she and her family ran a 60 horse boarding operation, as well as an equipment financing business. She's grateful to her parents for teaching her push beyond mental boundaries and achieve.
Laura has worked in the data marketplace over the past 13 years focused on helping companies build their risk management policies and sales and marketing initiatives through various channels like digital, social media, email, and direct dial campaigns.
She resides in northern CA with her motorcycle-adventuring husband, Andre, their 2 children, and Shepherd/ Pyrannes mix, Kronk. (from the Team's Instagram)
The Rig
For the 2021 Rebelle, Carey and Laura will be driving their 2014 Subaru Outback affectionately names "MTNSUBI". Don't read along thinking that this is your average Subaru Outback; the vehicle features:

- 215/75r15 BFG KO2s Tires
...needless to say that this Subie is ready to take on the back-country trails!
Keep an eye out for these two as they tear up the trails of the 2021 Rebelle Rally beginning on Oct. 7th, 2021.
