We're proud to announce that we have added Shop Pay as a payment option at checkout. If you're wondering what shop pay is or have questions about it, read on!

I'll be honest, I have seen these "4 easy payment/installment" options on other websites for a long time and I never ventured to see what they're about. I assumed that they we're some sort of layaway or financed payment option, but I didn't want to pay any additional fees or interest on my purchase, so I left well-enough alone.

Fast-forward to about 3 months ago when I saw that Shopify (our website host) offered their Shop Pay installment option. I looked into it after seeing some customers balk at having to pay $1000 up front for one of our Lithium Cubes - I get it as I'm not made of money either! After reading reviews and installing it on Wagan.com, I have to say that I am really pleased with it. Here's why...

From Shop Pay (shop.app):
"When you check out with Shop Pay, you have the option to pay in installments from participating stores (Wagan.com is one such store). Installments are a flexible payment option that can help you invest in larger purchases up to $3,000 by dividing your purchase amount into four equal, biweekly, and interest-free payments. There are no additional fees. Paying in installments with Shop Pay doesn't impact your credit score. For Shop Pay installments, Affirm will not report to credit bureaus."

Did you notice that it said "interest-free payments" and "no additional fees"?! How about the part where it states, "Paying in installments with Shop Pay doesn't impact your credit score"?! Me too! I thought this was too good to be true, so I tried it out for myself.

Wanting to see if this was really legit, I went to my favorite big box store website that offered shop pay and I bought a product that ended up being just under $475.00. Lo and behold after a few months, the regular pre-determined payments were automatically made to my credit card and the grand total was exactly as stated at checkout ($474.05) with no fees or interest added.

I'm sold, and that's why we're offering it to you! Enjoy easy installments without fees or interest!

Learn More (shop.app):
After you set up Shop Pay, you see the option to pay in installments with Shop Pay when you check out from a participating store with an eligible order. If you haven’t added a debit or credit card to your Shop Pay account, then you can do so during checkout and it’s saved for future purchases.
Affirm's underwriting systems determine whether your first payment is due at checkout or 2 weeks after your purchase. The next 3 remaining installments are automatically charged to your card saved on Shop Pay every 2 weeks.
You can log in to Shop Pay to view your order history and payment status for orders that are paid in installments with Shop Pay.
